Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing

Alex starting going to Kippax Veterinary Hospital for work experience in late 2018 then started doing kennel hand and nursing shifts start of 2019. She completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in September 2019. Alex grew up around animals and wanted to be a vet as she was growing up. She has worked in the animal industry since 2011, this includes working with cattle, sheep, horses, chickens, cats, and dogs.

Alex has traveled a lot around Australia and has been to Iceland, Ireland, England, France, and United Arab Emirates. She used to volunteer with the Queanbeyan Rural Fire Brigade and volunteers for the Rock Show (near Wagga Wagga).

Alex has two fur babies, Sooty the cat (who she hand raised from 3 months old) and Hazel the horse. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, reading, and knitting.
