Vanessa is originally from South Australia and has joined us in Canberra after spending the last 3 years in Queensland, where she was lucky enough to be able to be able to help care for the beautiful sea turtles.

Vanessa has had a love for animals since a young age and has been working as a vet nurse since 2013, completing her certificate IV in veterinary nursing in 2016. Vanessa enjoys all aspects of vet nursing, especially cuddling every dog that comes into the clinic. She has 2 dogs, Maggie the Staffy & Brandee the Cocker Spaniel and 1 cat, Winnie the Devon Rex. Vanessa plans to travel overseas in the future and volunteer at animal sanctuaries.
